Have y’all had a chance to tour through all of the One Room Challenge reveals yet? I spent a good chunk of time over the weekend looking through not only the reveals of the top 20 designers, but also through the guest participants, and let me just tell you…these challenges just get better and better!

I noticed a lot of trends in these new spaces, but the one that really stood out to me was the use of black…black paint, black tile, black countertops…it was all there. So today I thought I’d share some of my black favorites.

Chris Loves Julia – This charming space that Julia and Chris designed for their daughters might be my favorite of the bunch this round. It’s so sweet and fun, but still sophisticated enough that the girls can grow with it.

The Hunted Interior – These built-ins are ultra sleek and styled to perfection. And I mean, who doesn’t love a sputnik chandelier?

The Curated House – This room gives me all the feels. Our laundry room has come a long way, but I’ve still got really big plans. This is my new inspiration!

Hi Sugarplum – Cassie’s blog is one of my daily reads, and she never disappoints in the One Room Challenge. Her new dining room is all kinds of colorful (and gorgeous!) but I really loved the simplicity of this black door with the animal print rug.

Making It Lovely – Nicole’s blog was the very first one I followed when I started blogging almost 4 years ago. I’m always amazed by her renovations, both big and small, and this one was no different.

Place Of My Taste – Y’all know I love a good black and white bathroom. Subway tile shower, mosaic tile floor, sliding barn door…I love it all!

Decor Gold Designs – Talk about a focal wall. And that chandelier!

The English Room – Holly’s office is funky and fresh I’m digging it. This space would definitely get the creative juices flowing!

Erin Spain – Am I the only one who wants to put a coffee bar in their home after seeing this? It’s my favorite trifecta: black, white, and gold!

Design Indulgence – Sherry hit the mark with this one. She managed to make this sleek and sophisticated black-walled bedroom look super cozy and inviting.

Shannon Claire Interiors – I’ve had a love affair with built-ins for a long time. I want them in every room of my house! So naturally I was drooling over these bookshelves. Notice the moldings…these built ins are installed at an angle to have even more character.
