Two Trimesters Down: Pregnancy Update

Last Friday was the start of my 27th week, which means my second trimester is just about over! This pregnancy has seriously flown by. I can’t believe that in less than 3 months we’ll be meeting our sweet Charlie!

It still kind of weirds me out that I’m going to be a mom. Most of my friends are already moms and make it look so natural. But in my mind I still have this feeling like I’m not old enough to be a mom. Like I’m not really an adult. Is that just me or does every pregnant lady experience that?

One Room Challenge Favorites – Fall 2017

One Room Challenge reveals were last week and I swear this challenge just gets better and better! If you’re not familiar with the ORC, it’s a biannual event (currently in it’s 12th season!) that was started by Linda of Calling It Home.

Each round, twenty design bloggers take the challenge and transform a space. For six weeks, the designers document their process while sharing their sources and professional advice. It’s always so much fun to see these spaces come together!

30 Before 30 – The Final Cut

This Saturday I turn 30. That’s a weird sentence. Getting older has never really been a big deal to me because most of my friends are older, but 30 seems kind of big. I guess because it’s one of those milestone birthdays that you picture your whole life. Where will I be at 30?

While my life might not look exactly like I imagined (far from it actually), I’m pretty happy with where I am and am looking forward to the next decade!

Nursery Plans

With baby Charlie on the way, a lot of my time has been consumed with planning his nursery. We decided to move my home office downstairs and make that room his nursery. I already love having my office downstairs…it’s so sunny and not having to run up and down stairs several times a day is really nice. (I guess I should enjoy that while it lasts!)

Even before we knew the baby was a boy, I was in love with this nursery. I feel like it is very much my style, and while it is definitely a nursery, it doesn’t feel super themed or babyish. So I set out to create something similar in our own home.

And We’re Back!

Well hello there, stranger! It’s been too long!

702 Park Project hit some bumps in the road a few months back…let’s just say that if you are a blogger, make sure to set your domain to auto-renew and always check your spam folder!! Long story short, it took some sweat, tears, money, and a lot of frustration, but we’re finally back in business.

If you’re a regular around here, you’re probably noticing some things look a little wonky. We’re still working out all the kinks, but let me just say that it is such a relief to have access to this site again! Blogging has been one of the true joys of my life and I’m excited to get back into it.

So what’s the main difference? Well, the official link to the blog is now the702parkproject.com. (Just add “the” in front of the old site.) I’m still fixing links to old content, so if you try to click a link and it doesn’t work, just add that “the” to the front of the URL and you should get there. Hopefully I’ll have it all squared away soon.

You can expect a big life update post soon…I mean, it’s been 7 months since I’ve talked to y’all and I’ve got lots to share! But in the meantime, you can follow me on Instagram and Facebook for the latest.

Thanks for being here! I’m looking forward to picking up where we left off!! Stay tuned…
