I saw this quote earlier this week and immediately loved it. As we head into the holiday season, it’s easy to forget what’s important and get wrapped up in all things material. In my humble opinion, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to give your loved ones nice gifts, or even with wanting fancy gifts yourself. But it’s important to remember that the time spent together is so much more special.
Have a super weekend! Only 13 days until Thanksgiving and 41 days until Christmas!!

Happy Halloween, lovelies! Halloween is great and all, but tomorrow brings the start of my favorite month: November. In November, we finally get some fall weather down here in the south, I celebrate my birthday, we spend lots of time with friends and family, and we give thanks. And I have so much to be thankful for.
So, for the next 30 days, I’ll be posting a photo a day on Instagram of something I’m thankful for, using the hashtag: #30thankfuldays2014. I hope you’ll join me in making an effort to say out loud the things that we so often forget to be grateful for. See you on Insta!
