Although we now own our home, Charles and I have lived in a total of 14 rentals between the two of us. That’s a lot of rentals! Along the way we’ve learned a few tricks to help make a temporary space feel more like home.

The Evils of the World
By now, I’m sure you’ve all heard the news. My heart breaks for those involved, and for the city of Charleston. I rarely comment on the news on this blog. I just kind of feel that it’s not the place to get into all of that. But my heart is so heavy today, and I need to share.

Happy Hump Day, friends! I’m having a little trouble with some of the photos for the Herring Hulse House, so the kitchen, garden, and landscape tour will be coming soon. In the meantime, I thought I’d share one of my favorite design inspiration resources with you.
Luxe Interiors + Design has the best design round ups of any site I’ve found. It’s rare that I don’t pin at least one image from each of their galleries.
