At this point, it’s rare that I find a quote on Pinterest that I haven’t heard before. I came across this new one the other day and it kind of blew me away. We should all strive to live this way. Just some Friday food for thought.
Have a happy weekend!
Hey there lovelies! If you haven’t heard, I’m a new contributor to the Sarah Sarna Lifestyle Blog. On the second Wednesday of each month, I’ll be sharing some interior (and exterior) design eye candy that will hopefully inspire.
Today I’m sharing a few patios that make me want to dine outside every single night this summer. Hop on over to Sarah Sarna to check them all out!
Those that know me well know that I love a good quote. When I was younger, I used to rip them out of magazines and paste them into spiral notebooks. I even had a massive Book of Quotes that I got for Christmas one year. And then, of course, there was Pinterest.
The only thing better than a good quote? A beautifully hand lettered quote! And no one does it better than Letters From Rita!
I discovered this Etsy shop on another blog and was instantly hooked. Stephanie is so talented and has a very whimsical style that doesn’t seem too young. And since most of her work is custom, the possibilities really are endless!
A few weeks ago, I shared about a little challenge I’m participating in this summer. Basically, I’m working on learning a new skill over the next several weeks. The skill I chose was photography! There’s so much to learn, and I know that photography can take a blog from good to great, so that’s where I’m focusing my time this summer. Here’s the first update…
At the #SBSCon last weekend, Rachel and Beth gave a really helpful presentation on photography skills. Since then, I’ve been using their tips to play around with aperture, ISO, etc. At the conference, I also learned a little more about the editing features on Instagram. There’s so much more than just the filters! Who knew?!
As most of you probably know thanks to the obnoxious number of posts, I spent the weekend in Charleston meeting some pretty amazing people at the 3rd annual Southern Blog Society Conference. It was a truly enriching experience; I learned a lot and met some lovely new blog friends! But there will be more on that later…
Today I wanted to share just a little bit of Charleston’s charm…something I like to call The Anthology of Doors. There is so much to see (and taste, and smell, and touch, and hear) in Charleston, and the beautiful architecture is pretty high up there on the list. I could have probably shared 100 doors with you, but narrowed it down to just these few.
